Joash Turns Away From the Lord

¹⁵ Jehoiada grew old and full of days, and he died. He was one hundred thirty years old at his death.

¹⁶ They buried him in the City of David with the kings, because he had done good things for Israel in connection with God and his house.

¹⁷ After the death of Jehoiada, the officials of Judah came and bowed down to the king. Then the king began to listen to them.
